ItalianSkin, an accessible skin for Plone new release

Document Actions
ItalianSkin offers a skin for Italian Public Administration web sites or for special accessibility needs, in order to abide by all Italian laws.

The Italian law 4/2004 (called Legge Stanca) has decided that websites of Public Administrations must be compliant to many requirements, among which to use XHTML Strict.

ItalianSkin is an add-on product for the CMS  Plone, it provides a Plone skin which satisfies the requirements seen above for both front-end and back-end pages.

ItalianSkin allows you to create a web site  for Italian Public Administrations that accomplishes to all law requirements or for other purposes where the accessibility is important (and accessibility should always be important...), thanks to an open and standard interface that garantees the  interoperability and the cooperation among different computer systems.

Besides, we shouldn't forget that... the software that lies beneath this skin is Plone, a flexible and easy-to-use content management system that allows you to manage a web site even if you have limited technical skills!

Now, a new ItalianSkin release is available, updated to Plone 3.1.2. Download it for free:
