Linux Pro and Linux Ubuntu certifications
An article made by Redomino on Linux Pro magazine: the issue of March will deal with Linux certification and its benefits for professionals.
Linux Pro, important OpenSource-related Italian magazine, will feature in the issue of March an article by Alice Narduzzo, a member of the Redomino team.
The article will throw light on the importance of acquiring a Linux standard certification for ITC-professionals and for all those companies that require this kind of knowledge to improve their business in an Open Source-whelmed scenario.
It is almost useless to insist on how much free software technologies have become competitive in the last years, so much to get proprietary realities like Microsoft quite in trouble.
That is why an acknowledged Linux certification is nowadays such an important requirement to companies working in the ICT field.
The Linux Professional Institute, founded in 1999, is the organization in charge of the Linux standard certifications' development; it also sponsors the OS Ubuntu and it is Redomino's training partner since last year.
Thanks to this prestigious partnership, Redomino had the chance to offer training courses focusing on the basic knowledge required to use Ubuntu (User course) and on the proper training to Ubuntu Certified Professional exams (Professional course), officially acknoledged by the LPI.
The business' evolutions and the daily economic challenges make necessary to a more open-minded way of doing. Open Source is defenitely part of the future, so the knowledge about it will become more and more required. Redomino would like to thank Linux Pro, which is always active in spreading this new reality; Redomino is also glad to announce that Linux Pro will be official Media Partner of the 2009 Redomino Plone Tour.
