System Integration services for companies:
- HTTP server: an application active on the computer holding the pages making the web site. Its function is to mediate between the user and the computer, handling the requests of file reading. In that way, the integrity of information inside is assured;
- DNS (Domain Name Server): called even Name Server, they translate names in their correspondent IP addresses. When the browser obtains a domain name as destination, it asks, preventively and transparently, a DNS server which will return the correct IP;
- MAIL server: it allows to information exchange (not in real time) through POP3, SMTP, IMAP4 protocols. Through the mail server, it is possible to handle e-mail using WAP, WEB or mail client interfaces;
- RDBS (Relational DataBase Server): database management, more or less complex and with multiple access.
