IntraWeb provides several functions to improve your content management and organization.
- Working Copy, for an active and always up-to-date website: the Working copy helps you to work on two parallel versions of your document, the original version is still displayed on the website while the working copy is created on your local computer and it can be modified. When the new version will be ready, the system will replace the original document with the new one using the same web address and it will store the first version in its proper place.
- Warning messages to prevent from breaking links: when a user decides to delete an element, Intranet check its possible inner links with other documents and, if it happens, it shows a warning page with a list of all the connected documents. An intelligent system to avoid errors and lack of consistency.
- Automatic locking and unlocking, no misunderstandings: a document is "locked" when you are editing it to prevent an improper handling of data. this way, other users will know you are working on that page, avoiding inconsistency.
- Versioning, every change under control: IntraWeb lets you view the complete documents changes history; it is possible to compare any version with the most recent or with the previous one; you can also preview one of your previous versions and then decide to restore it as actual view on your website.
- Careful and accurate searches: Through your search box options you can perform contextual searches also limiting them to a specific part of your website to be even more precise.
- A very useful tool to search inside your website: Live Search, a functionality that provides an immediate guide during your searching, suggesting results on the go.
